Bells belongs to :iconlinnabear:

I think I have some problems shading dark hair this way. But I love how this one came out in general!

Indeed! Her husband is a Darkspear Troll if I remember correctly, and she got really immersed in the culture!

Lol but trolls don't mate with elves ;f That's against thier nature. And no blood elf would ever look at those gross savages which trolls to them are. Evles actually got offended of any hint that they're related, not to mention that elves were close of leaving Horde. And up to voodoo Elves consider it to be too primitive to touch, same goes to druidism. Not to mention that belf famales are too small in comparision to troll guys to be even able of mating with them. Some people got no idea what they play.

Nope am just rational. And when it comes to RPG I tend to know the background of the world I am participatin in. Even fantasy has it's own laws.

Have you even bothered reading about this character on the owner's page? I really liked the design and backstory, the originality of the concept in general; but is not mine. So I really don't care for anything you are saying.

Personally, I frankly don't believe that the owner, or anyone would appreciate your brand of self-righteous criticism, because you are just being an asshole about it. You are only interested on pointing out how "wrong" it is, instead of even trying to understand how it might work and what are the circumstances of the characters involved.

So take your monolithic views elsewhere.

It was critic based on actually study of the fictional world itself. As a serious roleplayer i had to to know background of each race I have played. You took offence but you know I said nothing which wasn't true.

And indeed I was annoyed becuase that is nothing original if you look deep into internet there is plenty of such cross-race cliches promoted despite the fact that it was only made out of whim, NOT of the actual study of the culture and fictional world itself. For example It would be like mixing orcs from Lord of the Ring with elves, and calling it even since "well it's my imagination, and if I say it can work, then it can".

I stand firmly with my opinion that such a relation had no right to exist, for many MANY reasons, and you're rude to me, becuase my opinion differs from yours. I do have a point, and you could at least respect the fact that I fear not to express it. But if you don't bother to actually consider my words even for moment, then so be it.

No, you were not respectful. You were condescending, patronizing and derisive of the creator's portrayal of their character.

Stand by your opinion "that such a relation had no right to exist", it's your right. But don't expect sympathy from me when you so rudely make your case. You reap what you sow.

I will stand by my belief that your view is reductive and doesn't account for individuality; one of the points of these uncommon relationships is the sociological and cultural oxymoron, and how it affects the individuals in the relationship regarding their respective backgrounds. Juxtaposition and taboo are interesting societal barriers to explore; and the interactions resulting of and interracial union are fertile territory for storytelling for all characters involved.

Are you denying that attraction between a troll and a blood elf is possible at all? Because everything else is merely a consequence of this. Thus far in WoW lore we have human/orc, human/elf, orc/draenei and half-kaldorei hybrids. Why would your opinion make Bloodelf/Troll attraction impossible?

And if attraction is possible, a relationship it is as well. So the intricacies, cultural mixing, taboo and ostracization are all elements that come into play.

I believe you don't have a point as you refuse the possibility on itself, thus your stance is arbitrary at best.

Ooh nice, gotta love the cross-cultural relationships in all fantasy things, including WoW.

(On that note, there will be some fun in terms of who my Tock ends up with...who will be introduced into the comic very very soon :D )
